See not the Yellow River's waters descending from heaven, rushing to the sea and never returning. See not, in the high hall, the bright mirror grieving white hair—morning like black silk, evening like snow. In life's prime, one must indulge in joy; let not the golden cup stand empty before the moon. Heaven gave me talent—it must be of use; a thousand gold spent, it comes again. Boil sheep, slaughter oxen, and make merry; we must drink three hundred cups at once. Master Cen, Master Danqiu—bring in the wine! Let the cups not stop. I will sing a song for you—listen, I pray. Bells, drums, and jade fare are not worth prizing; I only wish to be drunk forever and never wake. Since ancient times, sages are all lonely; only the drinkers leave their names. Prince Chen of old feasted at Pingle—ten thousand coins a cask, reveling without restraint. Why does the host say there is little money? Go straight and buy wine to drink with you. My five-flower horse, my thousand-gold fur—call the boy to take them out and exchange for fine wine, that with you we may dissolve the sorrow of ten thousand ages.

君は見ずや黄河の水天より来て、奔流して海に至り復た還らざるを。君は見ずや高堂の明鏡、白髪を悲しむ。朝は青糸の如く、暮れには雪の如し。人生得意ならば須らく歓を尽くすべし、金の樽を空しく月に対せしむな。天生の我が材は必ず用あり、千金散じても復た来る。羊を烹り牛を宰して且つ楽しみを為さば、会須らく一飲み三百杯。岑夫子、丹丘生、将進酒、杯を停めるなかれ。君がために一曲を歌う、君がために傾耳して聴け。鐘鼓の馔玉は貴きに足らず、但し長く酔いて復た醒めずんことを願う。古来の聖賢は皆寂寞たり、唯だ飲者のみが其の名を留む。陳王は昔時平楽に宴し、斗酒十千に恣に歓谑す。主人は何をか言うて金少なきと、径に沽取して君に対して酌さしむ。五花の馬、千金の裘、児を呼びて出でて美酒と為さしむ、爾とともに万古の愁を銷たらん。
