Smile | When Does Life Ever Bring True Pride? | Traditional Hand-Painted Chinese Ink Figure Painting | 100x50cm

From Li Zongyi's 'Smile' series, this expressive ink figure painting creates vivid, lifelike characters through a unique artistic language. Each figure has a distinct expression—laughing, thinking, moving, or still—all rendered with remarkable vitality. The inscription 'When Does Life Ever Bring True Pride?' is candid and full of personality and everyday flavor. With the freehand style, the ink flows freely, the lines are bold, and the forms are exaggerated yet never lose their spirit—pushing the expressive spirit of traditional Chinese ink figure painting to new heights. The painting's profound mood and rich cultural content give it distinctive artistic value and collecting significance.
