Every piece in our store is an original hand-painted artwork on rice paper by Mr. Li Zongyi — never a print or reproduction. Each painting is one of a kind worldwide and, once sold, is gone forever. It comes with a certificate of authenticity personally signed by the artist.

Li Zongyi is a freehand Chinese ink figure painter best known for his Zen-inspired figures. His signature series include Five Hundred Arhats (500 individually hand-painted figures on rice paper, no two alike), the "Smile" series, court-lady line drawings, and cinnabar Zhong Kui. His works are part of the Daming Temple collection.

Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity personally signed by the artist, matching the painting's inscription and seal one-to-one; some works also include a video of the creation process.

Pingchi is the traditional Chinese unit for paintings: 1 pingchi ≈ 33.3 × 33.3 cm (about 0.11 m²). For example, a 100×50 cm painting is about 4.5 pingchi. Every product's spec table lists both centimeters and pingchi so you can estimate wall space.

No. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind original with no duplicates; once sold it is gone for good. Even the 500 Arhats are all different. The painting you collect is truly unique.

Works leave the studio unframed, mounted on rice-paper backing, rolled and placed in a custom brocade box — moisture-proof and crush-resistant — with tracked worldwide delivery.

In-stock works are usually shipped within 3-7 business days; if you choose custom framing, the timeline shown on the product page applies. Once shipped, you can track your order on the Order Tracking page.

Listed prices include tax (VAT/sales tax). Your destination country or region may charge import duties and customs fees, which are borne by the recipient under local customs regulations.

Yes. Returns are accepted within a limited period — see the Returns & Cancellation Policy page for details. As every piece is unique, please inspect it upon delivery; if it arrives damaged in transit, contact customer service right away.

Yes — custom framing, custom brocade gift boxes, and (for some works) a video of the creation process. Contact service@treascol.com before or after ordering.

Hand-painted works may show slight color differences under different lighting and screens. Rice-paper texture, ink tones and brushstrokes are natural characteristics of hand painting, not defects.

Avoid direct sunlight and humid environments; keep it away from heaters and air-conditioning vents. Dust gently with a soft brush — never a damp cloth. When framing, choose a method with ventilation gaps.

Yes. The 500 individually painted figures are all different — collect a single piece or the complete set. Sold figures are gone forever; availability is shown in the Five Hundred Arhats collection.
