The inscribed poem reads, "As the moonlit night wears on, sleepless, I think of only one." Pairing baimiao figure with original verse, the artist captures the classical Eastern beauty of longing—restrained, deep and sorrowful without bitterness—honoring a lasting, sincere devotion. Drawn entirely in the minimalist baimiao (plain-line) manner, the work uses pure ink contour without a single wash of color, letting generous blank space and flowing, unbroken lines express the gentle grace of the ladies. Sparse yet continuously alive, the lines reveal decades of line-drawing mastery. Each piece is an original hand-painted work, never reproduced.
