「糸遊びの楽しみ」は一本の糸で楽しみをつなぎ、糸は細くとも情は長い。糸を引く合間に祖父と孫のような呼吸と温もりがあり、小さなところに楽しみを見出す情趣と断ちがたい人の縁が伝わる。凝縮され奔放な筆致と誇張されながらも生き生きとした造型により、わずか数筆で人物の表情と性情が紙上に躍り出ている。一点一点が手描きの一点物であり、複製不可能な貴重な作品である。
