A full-figured mother sits smiling at the center, five children gathered around her shoulders and knees, nestling or laughing; interweaving yet orderly lines fill the scene with the warm bustle of a large, loving family.

Titled "Happy Mother," it is a tender tribute to mothers everywhere. In the abundant composition of one mother ringed by five children the artist celebrates the joy of a close, flourishing family and the boundless greatness of maternal love—wishing every mother surrounded by love, laughter, health and peace. Drawn entirely in the minimalist baimiao (plain-line) manner, the work uses pure ink contour without a single wash of color, letting generous blank space and flowing, unbroken lines express the gentle grace of the ladies. Sparse yet continuously alive, the lines reveal decades of line-drawing mastery. Each piece is an original hand-painted work, never reproduced.
