Her long hair and silk ribbons trail to the right in a few cloud-like unbroken lines that span the scroll; sketched in a handful of ink strokes, her expression is serene and languid, while the wide blank space around her deepens the quiet ease.

Titled "Just a Quick Rest" in a delightfully colloquial phrase, it captures stealing a quiet moment to lie down amid the rush. Through the peacefully reclining lady the artist voices a balanced way of living that knows when to ease and be kind to oneself—one need not stay tense at every moment; a timely rest to regain composure is itself a gentle wisdom.
