Treasure Collection is dedicated to contemporary hand-painted Chinese ink art. Every artwork we offer is a genuine original hand-painted by the artist Li Zongyi (李宗义) himself.
About the Artist
Li Zongyi is the founder of the Contemporary Leisure Painting School (「休闲画派」) and is known as “the world’s foremost painter of Buddha images.” The complete original set of his “Five Hundred Arhats” (「五百罗汉图」) is permanently housed at Daming Temple in Yangzhou as the temple’s official reference collection of arhat portraits; he has set Guinness World Records for long-scroll painting five times.

- “Smile” — painted with laughter, written with ink, each work bearing a candid inscription;
- Beauties — minimalist baimiao linework (「白描」) capturing the grace of Eastern women;
